Get ready for a battle of wits! The Inter-House Quiz Competition for the 2024-2025 session will be held on January 31st, 2025 (Friday). Students from classes IV to IX will represent their houses in this exciting intellectual showdown.
Categories:
- Sub Junior: Classes IV, V, and VI
- Senior: Classes VII, VIII, and IX
Participants: 6 students from each house will form a team.
Competition Format: The quiz will consist of four engaging rounds:
- Round 1: Quiz Chain: Each team will face four direct questions (10 marks each). Unanswered questions can be passed to the next team for half the points (5 marks). 1-minute time limit per question.
- Round 2: Rapid Fire Round: Teams will tackle 10 questions in quick succession within a 2-minute timeframe (10 marks per correct answer). Team discussion is allowed.
- Round 3: Audio-Visual Round: Teams will identify answers based on provided audio or visual clues (10 marks each). Passed questions can be answered by other teams for 5 marks. 1-minute time limit.
- Round 4: Buzzer Round: The fastest finger first! Teams buzz in to answer questions. Correct answers earn 10 marks, while incorrect answers or failure to answer after buzzing incur a -5 mark penalty. 30-second time limit.
